Eastern Hydraulic Solutions is proud to announce that we now distribute the products of Monnier Inc. Monnier manufactures a full line of air preparation units out of their Algonac, Michigan facility. These products include filters, regulators & lubricators that are either modular or in combination. Monnier competes with and offers products similar to Parker, Watts, Wilkerson, Norgren & Master Pneumatics among others. Monnier has recently introduced a stainless steel line that is being very well received. This line includes miniature particulate filters, coalescing filters, regulators and filter regulators in 316 stainless steel. Designed to withstand caustic solutions, harsh operating conditions and other demanding applications, the Monnier stainless steel line is ideal for the following industries: food preparation & packaging, pharmaceutical, natural gas, offshore drilling units & wastewater treatment plants. Couplamatic is well known for their innovative hydraulic hose assembly systems, components & tooling. Couplamatic supplies a complete line of hose, hose fittings & tooling that competes with most recognized manufacturers. Couplamatic offers a choice of either domestically manufactured hose or imported hose for cost reduction. Couplamatic hose & fittings can be crimped on most adjustable crimpers and on many Parker, Dayco, Imperial, Gates, Aeroquip, Anchor and Stratoflex fixed crimpers. The main obstacle to converting to more economical hose & fittings has long been the cost of tooling replacement. The tooling replacement is necessary to avoid liability in the case of a hose failure. After a survey of your tooling we may be able to provide a “Certificate Of Liability Insurance” document that will remove the issue of liability risk for you. The document can specifically name your company. This program can also cover your liability while deleting your existing inventory as you mix and match it with the Couplamatic product. OUR INTERCHANGE POLICY: The design and the availability of many fluid power products has changed dramatically in recent years. Forward thinking purchasers are questioning ‘Brand Loyalty” like never before. Consolidations, mergers and acquisitions have forced the survivors to look off-shore for material and labor reductions. Many designs have been eliminated or altered before import into the United States. The long-time practice of insisting upon the same brand for replacement parts to eliminate the possibility of application problems is no longer the safest course to take. It is the policy of the EASTERN HYDRAULIC SOLUTIONS Division to offer competitive interchanges whenever possible. Many of our vendors have been selected with this goal in mind. We will look to reduce your costs and to supply quality components in an expedient manner. Any substitution proposed by the EASTERN HYDRAULIC SOLUTIONS Division will be identical in all aspects unless we advise otherwise. Most importantly: if you have a problem our resolve to correct it will be intense!
